Donald Rudie

Donald V. Rudie, 82, of Mountain formerly from Seymour, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Lakewood Assisted Living. He was born May 17, 1934, son of the late Albert and Ahrena (Schubert) Rudie.
Don enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1955. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour and was a member of the Winnebago County Auxiliary Police, The Nicolet National Forestry Service and a volunteer of Town of Doty Fire Department. He loved the outdoors and his dog BJ. Don loved hunting, typing novels and enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.
Don is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Ron) Geiger, Mountain; son, Scott (Brenda) Rudie, Town of Dale; grandchildren: Alisha, Brandon, Ashley; and his former wife, Elaine Fuss Rudie.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Arland (Toni) Rudie.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.
