Age 79, passed away early Saturday morning, August 13, 2011, at New London Family Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1932. On September 19, 1987, he was united in marriage to Linda (Gehrke) Doucette.
Don was an Army veteran. He was employed at Neenah Foundry until his retirement, and then worked at Huettl's for many years as a bus driver and mechanic. He enjoyed time spent camping especially at Captain's Cove. Fishing, cribbage, bowling and playing miniature golf were some of his favorite past-times.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda; children: Russ (special friend Gloria) Van Handel, Menasha; Deb (Mike) Lewis, Clintonville; Darlene (Jeff) McNichols, Black Creek; Jeff Doucette (special friend Courtney Mastey), Shiocton; Kevin (Stacy) Doucette, Shiocton; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Alice (Ervin) Van Asten, Appleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scott.
