Donna L. Fassbender, 77, of Black Creek, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Brewster Village. She was born January 27, 1939, daughter of the late Ray and Leona (Blake) Fassbender.
Donna meant so much too so many, especially her nieces and nephews and their children. She was a very giving person and was loved by many. She enjoyed her cats, attending the Packer games and traveling. She was employed with Secura Insurance until her retirement where she enjoyed lunches with the special girls.
Donna is survived by her siblings: Joann (Louden) Brooks, Bruce (Carolyn) Fassbender, John (Cheryl) Fassbender, Mary Ann (William) Rettler; nieces and nephews: Randi (Jack) Zellmer, Tari Brooks, Lori (Darrel) Bizub, James (Michelle) Fassbender, Brian (Angie) Fassbender, Shari (Steve) Vanden Eng, Karyn (Rick) Rottier, John (Shelia) Fassbender, Paul Rettler, Jaime (Chris) Rettler, Robbi (Missy) Rettler, Chris "C.J." (Amanda) Rettler; great nieces and nephews, godchildren: Randi, Brittney and C.J.
She is preceded in death by her soul mate, Ralph Wickesberg, he passed away April 4, 2016 and a special nephew, Joe Fassbender.
Friends may call at St. John United Church of Christ, Black Creek on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Schwinn officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
