Dora Angiolina Budet, age 86, of Seymour, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Dora was born on June 20, 1937 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio and Judith (Lebron) Budet.
She lived in Puerto Rico until attending college at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and obtaining a degree in Home Economics. She was united in marriage to her first husband, Lyle E. Kamlah in Milwaukee. Following their divorce, she returned to Puerto Rico to be near family. She later married her second husband, Luis A. Caro. Following Luis's passing, she moved from Puerto Rico to Seymour to be closer to her daughter, Raquel.
Dora enjoyed reading, working on her craft and glass work projects and visiting with her friends and neighbors.
Dora is survived by her daughter, Raquel (Greg) Strayer of Bonduel; grandson, Branden (Kim) Strayer of Bonduel; grandson, Austin (Khala) Strayer of Antigo; great-grandchildren: Harper and Easton Strayer of Bonduel, and Henry and Mabel Strayer of Antigo. Also survived by her niece, Elena Budet of Florida; and her children: Jose Daniel Hernandez, and Jose Luis Rodriguez.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Caro of Puerto Rico; son, Mark Kamlah of Milwaukee; brother, Jose Budet; parents, Antonio and Judith Budet of Puerto Rico; many other loving relatives.
In lieu of service, at a later date, Dora's remains will be laid to rest in a family crypt at Cementerio Porta Coeli Cemetery in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
