Dora Angela Knorr, age 71, of the town of Center passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 15, 2021.
She was born in Appleton, WI at St. Elizabeth's Hospital on September 2, 1949 a daughter of the late Benedict and Angela (Jansen) Verhoven.
Dora married James Knorr on August 14, 1971 in Appleton.
Dora liked to take family trips to the cabin in Land O' Lakes, and enjoyed fishing there. She loved watching the Packers, making Christmas cookies, baking, and cooking with her grandchildren, and playing Scrabble and other games with them. Dora also enjoyed watching and playing along with game shows. Her family was the most import thing in her life.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Knorr; children: Jim Jr. (Kelly), Wade (Kelly), and Jo Lee (Roy); six grandchildren: Kori, Mason, Taylor, Kyla, Rylan, and Charlotte; sisters, Rose Genske and Mary (Mark) Goodfellow; sisters-in-law, Glenda Knorr, Heidi Verhoven, and Judy Verhoven; brother-in-law, Dennis Kainz; and half-brother-in-law, Maurice (Deb) Webb. Dora is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bernadette, Ben, Jim, Pete, Jane (Elton), John, Marty, Marge, Eileen, Joe, and Elizabeth (Richard); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Dorothy (Strong) Knorr; and brother-in-law, Jack Knorr.
Following Dora's wishes, no funeral services will take place. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
