Doris Dickson

Doris E. Dickson, age 94, of Shiocton passed away February 28, 2014 at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. She was born May 18, 1919 daughter of the late William and Celia (Smith) Uecke.
On April 9, 1940 she was united in marriage to Harold Kleist in Seymour. He preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Howard Dickson and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Doris was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Leeman and was previously an active member of Seymour United Methodist Church.
Doris enjoyed dancing, traveling, gardening, singing, camping, being outdoors, and time spent with her family. She was always a very positive and practical lady that lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her four sons: Kenneth, Conover; Ben (Janice), Steven, Carl, all of Shiocton; and two daughters: Sally (Gerry) Kalt, CA; Lynn (Charles) Ness, Seymour; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harold Kleist and Howard Dickson; grandson Jon; daughter-in-law Cindy and son-in-law Fred.
Friends may call at Trinity United Church of Christ, Leeman on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Rev. Moira Finley officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
