Doris Jane Lancelle, 86, Seymour, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021. The daughter of Raymond and Pauline (Glinski) Luedtke was born March 2, 1934, in Green Bay. On October 6, 1956, she was united in marriage to Howard Lancelle. Howard preceded Doris in death on August 9, 2010.
Doris was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Zachow. She worked at Proctor & Gamble for many years until her retirement in 1990. Doris thoroughly enjoyed her time playing bridge with her friends in Seymour at Good Shepherd Services. She also cherished her "hen club" lunch group with her high school classmates. Doris had a green thumb, and cared for a beautiful garden.
Survivors include one son, Jeff (Jill) Lancelle, Milwaukee; one daughter, Julie (Martin) Hock, Seymour; four grandchildren: Kelley Lancelle, Kevin (Jessica) Lancelle, Andrew Hock and Alex Hock; three great-grandchildren: Landon Lancelle, and Finn and Charlie Lancelle; siblings: Esther (Jim) Fox, Leona Hoersch, and Marvin (Meredith) Luedtke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Guests will be required to wear a mask. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, W1978 Church Dr, Zachow, Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
