Doris Vanden Heuvel

Doris Anne Vanden Heuvel, 80, of Gilbert, AZ, born in Seymour, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 10, 2017 with family by her side. She was born September 12, 1937, daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Winters) Krueger. On December 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Vanden Heuvel. He preceded her in death November 23, 2007.

Doris was kind and caring, always put family first and cherished time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed watching football games on Sunday.

She is survived by her children: Jayme (Lisa) Vanden Heuvel, Batavia, IL; Vicki (Tim) Davies, Miller Place, NY; Ann (Bob) Hattan, Downers Grove, IL; and Paul (Diane) Vanden Heuvel, Newnan, GA; grandchildren: Billy Vanden Heuvel and Rachel (Bryce) Lewis, Aaron and Briana Davies, Bradley and Anthony Hattan, Sommer and Lauren Vanden Heuvel; great grandchildren: Emma and Haley Lewis; sister, Betty Raether, Green Bay; brothers-in-law: Bud (Audrey) Vanden Heuvel, Seymour, WI, Jerome Vanden Heuvel, Seymour, WI, Bob (Carolyn) Vanden Heuvel, Port Washington, WI; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Rich) Stephani, Sheboygan, WI, Kate (John) Avery, Chandler, AZ, Joyce (Herb) Grulke, Green Bay, WI and Audrey (Tom) Zuleger, Denmark, WI; numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris is preceded in death by her sister in law, Jean Vanden Heuvel, brother in law, Elwood Raether; and brother-in-law, Earl Vanden Heuvel.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, December 18, 2017, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
