Doris A. Woldt, age 80 of Seymour passed away Thursday evening, December 22, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born December 13, 1931 daughter of the late Elmer and Gladys (Zahrt) Kimball. Doris was an artist who worked in many mediums such as oil painting, watercolor, crafting, sewing and rosemaling. She loved teaching people of all ages working through FVTC and her business Dee's Arts & Crafts. She touched many people with her artwork and continued to teach until the end of her life.
Survivors include her children: Kathy Woldt, Keith (Shari) Woldt, Ken Woldt, Richard Woldt, Brian (Cindy) Woldt, Judy Beck all of Seymour; 14 grandchildren; 17 + ? great- grandchildren; sisters: Mary Helen Montour, Shawano; Phyllis (Lyle) Sconzert, Green Bay; brother, William (Alice) Kimball, Lansing, Michigan; sisters-in-law: Joan and Jeanette Kimball
Preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Robert Kimball
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 4-7 PM with a memorial service at 7 PM. Burial will take place in the Seymour City Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
