Dorothy Berry

Dorothy Hysen Berry, 91, of Appleton passed away Tuesday evening, January 3, 2017 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1925, daughter of the late Harry and Alvina (Schultz) Hysen. On August 24, 1944 she was united in marriage to Irl Berry. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2012.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Dorothy enjoyed vegetable gardening and playing word search.

Survivors include her children: Wayne (Janet) Berry, Appleton; Linda (Jack) Pace, Rio; Susan Berry, St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren: Jodie King, Jeff (Maureen) King, Carl Kenas, Eric (Victoria) Kenas, Laura Berry, Sarah (Gerald) Crawford; five great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Natalie, Isabella, Mason, and Evelyn; one great-great-grandson, Oliver; one brother, Wayne (Josie) Hysen; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hysen and Oraletta Kailhofer.

Preceded in death by three brothers: Leland, Donald and Roger.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
