Dorothy Gorges

Dorothy M. Gorges, age 90, of Kimberly, formerly of Black Creek passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 2, 2014 at Florida Hospital, Sebring, FL surrounded by her family.
She was born May 22, 1923 daughter of the late Wilmer and Angeline (Seif) Schulz.
On August 16, 1941, she was united in marriage to Gordon F. Gorges. He preceded her in death January 26, 1997.
Dorothy along with her husband Gordon operated a large dairy farm for most of their lives. The two retired and began spending their winters in Florida and summers in Wisconsin. Dorothy was very active in church, community and social activities. She very much enjoyed her winters in Florida and summers in Wisconsin.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks, WI and St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid, Fl.
Dorothy is survived by her eight children: Gene (Jo) Gorges, Aurora, IL; Sharri (Marvin) Hintz, Seymour; James (Peggy) Gorges, Black Creek; Richard (Marion) Gorges, Appleton; Dennis (Peri) Gorges, Appleton; Julie (Richard) Jacobsen, Neenah; Duane (Carrie) Gorges, Seymour; Todd Gorges (special friend Sheila), Black Creek; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; she is also survived by a sister, Joyce Freundorfer, Jackson, WI.
She is preceded in death by one grandson, Terry Hintz; brothers-in-law: Walter Freundorfer and Gerald Gorges.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. and will continue at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.
