Dorothy Louise Mueller, 104, Seymour, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Meadow Wood Assisted Living, in Seymour, on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
She was born September 12, 1918, to the late Ernest and Louise (Bubolz) Noack. Dorothy was united in marriage to Walter Mueller on February 16, 1946. Walter preceded Dorothy in death on June 15, 2003.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, where she was active in Concordia, Quilters, and taught Sunday School over the years of her life.
She was raised on her family farm where she and Walter farmed for years. She had a great love of flowers, gardening, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include two daughters: Jayne Holewinski and Beverly (Mark) Bredehoft; 5 grandchildren: Jay (Jennifer) Holewinski, Jill (Jay) Vanden Heuvel, Jared (Preston Blarek) Holewinski, Michael (Gillian) Watson, Kristina (Brock) Watson-Towler; 8 great-grandchildren: Kyle and Abby, Paige and Nathan, Liliana and Nolan, Miles and Abel; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by two sisters: Leola (Emil) Kohn, and Lucille (Arvin) Peters; one son-in-law, Allen Holewinski; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am, Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Meadow Wood Assisted Living and Unity Hospice for their support.
