Dorothy Stellmacher

December 17, 1920 — November 11, 2011

Dorothy A. Stellmacher, age 90, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Carolina Manor in Appleton. She was born December 17, 1920 to the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg.

On November 10, 1945 she was united in marriage to Carlton Stellmacher at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. The couple celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Dorothy and Carlton farmed together in rural Seymour.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was a Sunday school teacher and was active with many other church activities.

Dorothy is survived by 4 children: Kathryn (Gary) Schabo, Eunice (Jim) Zwicker, Maribeth (Terry) Trombley, Ken (Brenda) Stellmacher; daughter-in-law Joan Stellmacher; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Beatrice Murphy and Bernice Riehl; brother Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg; sister-in-law Elaine Schaumberg. Further survived by a brother-in-law Leroy (Betty) Stellmacher; sister-in-law Vera Ashman.

She was preceded in death by a son Thomas; brothers and sisters: Marie (Gordon) Bunkelman, Margaret (Maurice) Barclay, Florence (Herbert) Rusch, Vivian (Marvin) Druckrey, Eunice Schaumberg; brothers-in-law: Frank Murphy, Francis Beil, Nolan "Jim" Riehl, Elmer Ashman; sister-in-law Helen Stellmacher.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

We find comfort that Dorothy is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial fund has been established in Dorothy's memory.

The family thanks the staff at Carolina Manor for their loving care and to ThedaCare Hospice for their support and comfort.
