Dorothy Van Boxtel

Dorothy C. Van Boxtel, 90, of Oneida, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, September 10, 2015 at Bishops Court Assisted Living in Green Bay. She was born June 24, 1925, daughter of the late Antone and Ida (Collard) Verheyden. On June 9, 1945, she was united in marriage to John Van Boxtel. The couple celebrated 70 years together.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida. Dorothy enjoyed time spent with her family. She loved traveling and spending the winters in Arizona, playing cards and enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband, John; children: Gary (Barb) Van Boxtel, Sliver Cliff; John Jr. "Butch" (Barb) Van Boxtel, Seymour; David (Chris) Van Boxtel, Oneida; Deb (Curt) Marsh, Seymour; Theresa (Michael) Havlik, Green Bay; Doreen Phillips, Green Bay; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Gerrits and Lorraine (Elmer) Vander Velden; sister-in-law, Anita Ver Heyden.
Preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Jane (Bruce) Nagel; grandson, Joel Marsh; three brothers: Donald, Earl and Harvey; three sisters: Martha, Stella and Eleanor.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr.
