Duane "Chubby" J. Palubicki, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at a Green Bay hospital. He was born March 3, 1940 son of the late Thomas and Erna (Liebhaber) Palubicki. On April 15, 1961 he was united in marriage to Arlene Klimoski.
Chubby was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. He retired from Alto Dairy in Black Creek. Duane enjoyed fishing, the Packers, the Brewers and Badgers, and playing Sequence with his buddies.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene and their children: Jim (Laurie) Palubicki, Seymour; Laurie (Russ) Lancour, Little Chute; Bob Palubicki, Seymour; Ken Palubicki, Seymour; 5 grandchildren: Jenna, Paige, and Alex Palubicki, Matt and Mike Lancour; his special buddie Max; a sister Carol (Charlie) Dorn, Seymour; brothers-in-law Adrian Majewski, Seymour; Eugene Naparella, Bonduel; sisters-in-law Theresa Palubicki, Darboy; Jeanette (Jerry) Schroeder, Neenah.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Vivian and Mary; and a brother John.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 4 PM to7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, September 28, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
