Edmund Andrew Pasowicz, age 84, of Oneida, went to His heavenly Father on March 23, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born November 10, 1929 son of the late Walter & Mary (Kabara) Pasowicz.
On October 14, 1950 he was united in marriage to Lorraine Van Kauwenberg at Saint Joseph's Church, Oneida.
Ed worked at Laney Cheese in Krakow, later farmed with Lorraine at the homestead in Oneida, after selling the livestock, he worked at Gold Bond ice cream, where he retired. After his retirement he worked at Fox Valley Auto Auction. He is a retired Hobart fireman, a KC & Moose member, member of the Catholic Financial and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida.
He enjoyed camping, playing cards, domino's, gardening (tomato's & pickles), feeding & watching the birds. Traveled, enjoyed their snowmobiles, boat, camper and RV, went on many trips & cruises and for years spent the winter months in Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of 63 years, his four children; Edmund (Rusty) Lake Stevens, WA., Ron, Oceanside, Ca. Kathy (Kippie) Edmonds, WA, Mark, Oneida, WI.; grandchildren: Edmund James Pasowicz, Stephena (Kell) Anderson, Brandon Pasowicz; great- grandchild, Benson. Edmund is survived by his four sisters: Regina Bogacz, Briarton; Sister Florence Pasowicz, Stevens Point; Dolores (John) Mc Intrye, Green Bay, Lorraine (Ron) Schwabenlender, Charlotte, N.C. as well as many wonderful nieces & nephews along with his wife's relatives. God-children: Linda (Kozicki) Meilcarek, Sharon (Bogacz)Tome, Clarissa Duffek & David Duffek
Preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Mary (1957); brothers and sisters: Bernice & Tony Smith, Edward & Regina Pasowicz, Irene & Jerry Kozicki, Raymond, Helen, Adeline, Verna, & John Pasowicz; and a brother-in-law, Ed Bogacz.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the church from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Chrysostom Katamba and Fr. Willie Vander Loo officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
