Edna Strelow

February 26, 1917 — February 9, 2013

Edna D. Strelow, 95, of Seymour passed to her eternal home on February 9, 2013, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born February 26, 1917 daughter of the late William and Elsie (Kluge) Thomas in the Township of Cicero. On April 26, 1941 she was united in marriage to Orville Strelow. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1969.

Edna was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek, working as secretary for many years and being on the search committee twice. Besides being a homemaker she worked many years for Gehrke Hardwoods and Dryden Insurance.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews; very good and faithful helper and friend Karen Ort and all her good neighbors and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Esther Plantikow; two brothers, Leonard and Raymond; three sisters-in-law: Verda Thomas, Eda Strelow, Leona Strelow; three brothers-in-law: Herman Plantikow, Vinal and Hugo Strelow.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4 pm until services at 7 pm with Pastor Gail Irwin officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
