Edward Rawling

Edward G. Rawling, 83, of Black Creek passed away early Wednesday morning, April 17, 2013 at his home. He was born July 19, 1929 son of the late Wellington and Marie (Schmidt) Rawling. Edward married Fern Peterman (Noack) in 1968. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2012.

Edward was an Army Veteran serving eight years with the National Guard and later with the Army 32nd Division. He was a member of the Duhm-Masch American Legion of Black Creek. He was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek where he served in many capacities. He was a Charter Member of the Black Creek Lions Club and received the Melvin Jones Award.

Ed was a past cheese and butter maker moving to Black Creek to be employed with the Outagamie County Producers. He and Fern owned and operated E & F Construction and the Old Coach Inn Bed and Breakfast in Black Creek.

Survivors include his daughter Mary (James) Ratajski, Whitefish Bay, WI; five step-children: Debby (Chuck) Stellmacher, Seymour; Lu Ann Oskey, Black Creek; Wayne Noack, Keshena; Joel Noack, Alexandria, VA; Jason Noack, Kaukauna; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother John (Ruth) Rawling, Minnesota; two sisters-in-law: Leah (Herb) Giese, Gillett; Myra (Al) Hann, Oregon, WI.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers Joel and Giles.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 4-8 PM and Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stephen Schlicht and Pastor John Brandt officiating.
