Edward L. Tyczkowski, 88 passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Edward was born on October 12, 1932 to the late Louis and Anna (Kurzawa) Tyczkowski of Hofa Park. He then married Ida Mae Rollo on August 23rd, 1958.
Edward drove truck for 61 years and loved driving. He drove for Amerhart, LTD for 31 years, KK warehousing for a short period of time and then Valley Trucking. Edward love mowing grass for his neighbors and friends. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Edward also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He knew many people and was loved by all.
Edward is survived by his two sisters: Belvina Kittle and Joan Fill; four daughters: Kathleen (Rob) Rollo, Wendy (late Gregory) Dey, Terry (Ben) Villers, Sandra (Clifford) Hoffman; 12 grandchildren: Scott (Kristina), Bradley, Joshua (Maggie) Rollo, Matthew (Sabrina) Dey, Dakota, Samantha (Justin) Villers, Lexis Brien and one special little girl Ariana Brien, James (Jessica), Lynne, Michael (Jada), Anna (Leslie) Van Den Bogart and Patence Tourville; and 17 great-grandchildren: Brennen, Nolan. Annaleigh, Karson, and Wyatt on the way, Idaia, Mackenzie, Jazmine, Charissa, Alyssa, Lucas, Josie, Ava, Trenton, Jasper, and April. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae; his parents Louis and Anna; In-laws Eli and Violet Rollo; a brother Alan; four brothers-in-law: EJ Kittle, Phillip Rollo, Norman (Sonny) Brabant, Norbert McAbee; sister-in-law, Wanda McAbee; two sons-in-law, Gregory Dey and Tony VanDenBogart, and a great-grandaughter, Stella Meyer.
Visitation for Ed will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 2 pm until the funeral service at 4 pm with Pastor Moira Finley officiating. Interment will take place at Seymour City Cemetery.
