Ella Kruse

Ella Rose Kruse (Fields), age 65, of Black Creek, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, due to the effects of life long type 1 diabetes. She was born August 22, 1951, daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Thompson) Fields.
She was a graduate from Shiocton High School. Ella married Keith Kruse at St. John's United Church of Christ in Black Creek on November 21, 1970.
Ella was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Black Creek and was a dedicated Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved to tell her 3-5 year old children about the love of Jesus. She also worked rummage sales, in the kitchen, the Christmas program, bus trips and was on the Christian Board and Pastor Committee. In her younger years, Ella worked for Romy's Nightingale as a hostess and waitress for many years.
Ella and her husband Keith enjoyed playing dart ball matches for their church and playing cards with friends and family, and babysitting many years at her home.
She is survived by her husband Keith of 46 years. Ella and Keith did not have children of their own but were Godparents to eight children and loved each one. Ella is survived by her brother, Earl (Nancy) Fields; sister, Violet (Herbert) Grube.
Ella is preceded in death by her sisters, Genevieve (Arlie) Bork, Rosemary and Shirley, and infant twins, Vivian and Vernon.
Friends may call at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Tom Fritz officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
