Erwin "Erv"," Ervie" W. Beyer, age 83, passed away Saturday morning, May 28, 2011 at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 10, 1927 to the late Paul and Mildred (Stark) Beyer.
On November 27, 1948 he was united in marriage to Audrey Madison. The couple spent 60 years of marriage together before she preceded him in death on July 19, 2009.
Erwin (The White Tornado) retired from MCC after 53 years. He owned and operated Beyer's Farm Market since 1972. He loved riding his tractors, snowmobiling, farmers markets and dartball, but most importantly, spending time with his family. Erwin was the co-founder of Nichol's Go-Getters Snowmobile Club.
Erwin was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero.
Survivors include his children: Jean (Al) Timm, Seymour; Kim (Chuck) Letter, Seymour; Traci (Jerome) Banker, Black Creek; Tammy (Chad) McHugh, Black Creek; grandchildren: Rebecca (Eric) Stephani, Cheri (Ryan) Klussendorf, Eric (fiancee Erica Priebe) Timm, Ashley and Clay Letter, Jesse Beyer, Logan, Parker and Aubrey McHugh; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Edna Moser; Delyle Beyer; Virginia Moes; sisters-in-law Dolores Marquette, Don (Marilyn) Madison.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Elfreida Hendrich and Lila Piechocki; one brother, Merlin Beyer
Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero on Wednesday, June 1, 2011from 3 PM until services at 6 PM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
