Eunice Joann Lindeman passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Shepherd's Inn at the age of 94. She was born June 2, 1922 in Racine, WI to the late Rev John and Martha (Krenzke) Boerger. She served her country and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan during WWII as an Army nurse. She married Roland E. Lindeman on January 2, 1948 who preceded her in death on September 23, 1989.
Eunice is survived by her children, Karl (Lois), Ava Maria, FL; Paul (Marsha), Port St. Joe, FL; Richard (Jan), Coon Rapids, MN; Roland (Bonnie), Seymour, WI; James (Yuko) Willow Creek, CA; Linda Havlicek, Brookfield, WI. She has also been blessed with 12 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. She is further survived by sisters, Ruth, San Francisco, CA; Nancy, Shawnee, OK and brother, Mark (Karen), New Palestine, IN. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Rev. Charles Boerger, Rev. Robert Boerger and Rev. John Boerger. Eunice was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and has always been an active member of Lutheran churches throughout her life. Eunice also worked for many years as a registered nurse for the VA Hospitals in Omaha, NE and in Milwaukee, WI.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Tuesday, December 27th at 11 AM with Rev. Natalie Kramer-McComb presiding.
Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM Military Rites to follow by the Seymour American Legion. Inurnment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Gardens in Milwaukee.
