Evelyn Ehlert

January 27, 1915 — August 15, 2012

Evelyn J. Ehlert, 97, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born January 27, 1915 daughter of the late Albert and Hertha ( Spiegel) Krueger in Tigerton, Wisconsin. On April 23, 1941 she was united in marriage to Louvern W. Ehlert, celebrating 54 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1995.

Evelyn was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour belonging to the Concordia Society. She spent most of her life dairy farming and she enjoyed dancing, bowling, bingo, sheephead card games with friends, traveling and time spent at their cottage on Shawano Lake.

Survivors include her children: Darhl (Norman) Stingle, Seymour; Janet (Pat) Krohlow, Seymour; Jeffrey (Irene) Ehlert, Green Bay; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister: Marcella Helms, Green Bay; two brothers: Orvil (Ann) Krueger, Marion; Leo (Carol) Krueger, South Carolina; sisters-in-law: Dolores, Adeline Krueger, Rosemary Ehlert Enke ; many cousins, nieces and nephews

Evelyn is preceded in death by a son, Curtis Ehlert; infant grandson, Paul Ehlert; infant great- grandson, Riley Stingle; sister, Adeline; brothers: Henry, Harvey, Harold, Willard, Albert H. and Marvin; six sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 8:30 AM until services at 10:30 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be express at www.muehlboettcher.com .
