Evelyn Kroner, age86, passed away on July 10, 2010 at Rennes Health & Rehab Center, Appleton.
Evelyn was born on Oct. 6, 1923 in Hofa Park, the daughter of William and Rose (Bluma) Borlik. She was united in marriage to Aloysius (Ollie) Kroner on Oct. 20, 1951. Together they owned and operated Kroner's Bar in Hofa Park for many years, moving to Seymour in 1977. Evelyn was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour. She was an avid card player and a volunteer at Good Shepherd Home.
Survivors include her daughters Sue (Erv) Keepman, Appleton; Sharon (Dale) Peters, Stevens Point; Laurie, So. Carolina and her son Dennis (Sue) Kroner, Appleton; her grandchildren: Rob Houle III, Allyson and Katie Pease, Caroline and Olivia Kroner. She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian (Ted) VanDeYacht, Isaar and Marilyn (David) Hallada, Appleton; brother-in-law, Norman Kroner and sisters-in-law Betty Ziesemer, Agnes (Robert) Hein, Doris (Norbert) Kroner, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie, on Jan. 3, 1999, her sister Ceil (Joe) Wierzba and brother Alvin (Eleanor) Borlik.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, WI. Fr. Bob Kabat will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service. To honor Evelyn's request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to memorials to St. John's Church and Good Sheperd Home.
Evelyn's family would like to express their thanks to Fr. Bob for his visits and compassion Deacon Matuszak and the staff at Rennes for their care. A special heartfelt thank you to her neighbors, Dan & Evalon Johnson for everything you did for Mom these past 11 years.
Mom, we'll miss you. You'll be in our hearts forever!!!
