F. James Seefeldt, age 77, of Seymour passed away Friday morning, March 8, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born August 14, 1935 son of the late Ferdinand and Eldora (Krahn) Seefeldt.
James was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.
On June 6, 1970 he was united in marriage to Edna May Mueller at the United Methodist Church in Cicero. Jim and Edna farmed in the town of Seymour on the home farm where Jim was born and raised.
Jim had a passion for raising and caring for his registered cattle. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan.
Survivors include his wife Edna, Seymour; children: Steven Seefeldt, Seymour, and Laura (Chad) Colwitz, Shiocton; three sisters-in-law: Dorothy Spoehr, Black Creek; Esther Limberg, Glenbeulah; Mildred (Gerald) Wiedemeier, Suamico; brother-in-law Clarence (Becky) Mueller, Black Creek; god daughter and niece Christine (Lavern) Bunnell, Seymour. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Guy Rusch; two brothers-in-law: Harold Limberg and Gorden Mueller.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stephen Schlicht and Pastor John Brandt officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
