Felix Martinez Cuadrado

Felix Martinez Cuadrado, age 91, of Oneida, passed away Friday morning, August 30, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Guanica, Puerto Rico to Ernesto Martinez and Juanita Cuadrado.

Felix proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Oneida Post 7784 for many years. Felix was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Oneida. Felix was married to Cecilia Doxtator on June 25, 1966, They lived in Puerto Rico for a while before returning to Wisconsin in the late 1990s. He and Cecilia were inseparable for over 58 years of marriage. Despite Cecilia being moved to Anna John Nursing Home, Felix visited her everyday. He enjoyed the local bingo games and his numerous crossword and word search puzzles.

Felix is survived by is wife of 58 years Cecilia, children Elizabeth Martinez Figueroa,Edwin Martinez Figueroa, Edith Martinez Figueroa and Felix Nathaniel "Pepe" (Amanda) Martinez-Doxtator; and grandchildren Kayana, Armando, and Juanito.

Felix is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Juanita and grandson Yoshuane "Yoshi" Torres and his beloved dog Boofy.

Funeral services for Felix will be held at the Oneida Assembly of God Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday September 7th, 2024 with Rev. Joel Cornelius officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of services. Full military honors and burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
