Florence A. Nelson, age 90, passed away early Friday morning, May 9, 2008 in Green Bay. She was born February 2, 1918 to the late Jack and Genevieve (Lemere) Ruch.
On November 17, 1937 she was united in marriage to Lee Nelson in Shiocton. He preceded her in death March 19, 1986. Florence farmed and was co-owner of Nelson Salvage Yard with her husband. She enjoyed Polka music, puzzle solvingc gardening, and reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria (friend Jim Koeppen), Black Creek; four sons and daughters-in-law: Roland Nelson, Kunesh; Wayne (Ardella) Nelson, Shiocton; Kermit (Barbara Jean) Nelson, Pulaski; Glen (Judy) Nelson, Shiocton; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. 2 sisters: Delores Hruban, Milwaukee, Beatrice Reeck, Clintonville; and 2 brothers: Joe Ruch, Embarrass, and Byron (Marie) Ruch, Glendale Az.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a daughter-in-law Carol.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 4PM to 8PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in the town of Maine Cemetery.
