Florence L. Rusch, age 91 passed away Thursday morning, April 2, 2009 at her home. She was born April 4, 1917 daughter of the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg. On November 6, 1937 she was united in marriage to Herbert Rusch in Seymour. Herbert preceded her in death on December 11, 1989.

Florence enjoyed farming with her husband Herbert. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, Quilters and was a volunteer at Good Shepherd. She helped out at Emmanuel with the funeral luncheons. Florence was a member of Kitchen Cutups Homemaker Club.

Survivors include her four sons and daughters-in-law: Jim (Jenelle) Rusch, Seymour; Steve Rusch, Lake Minnetonka, MN; Mark (Sue) Rusch, Seymour; Ted (Bev) Rusch, Seymour; five daughters and sons-in-law: Sheryl (Mike) Van Straten, Shiocton; Diane (Dwayne) Schneekloth, Seymour; Maureen (Ronald) Gowey, Seymour; Cindy (Pete) Mikle, Seymour; Barbara (Steve) Buman, Oneida; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Beatrice Murphy, Appleton; Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher, Appleton; Bernice Riehl, Seymour; one brother Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg, Seymour; sister-in-law, Elaine Schaumberg, Seymour.

She was preceded in death by a son Gerry, daughter-in-law Linda, three sisters: Marie, Vivian and Margaret, one brother Maynard.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 10 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial in parish cemetery.
