Frederick Krueger

Frederick "Fritz" C. Krueger, age 85, of Seymour, passed away Monday morning, May 20, 2013 at his home. He was born July 2, 1927 son of the late Elmer and Elsie (Dingldein) Krueger in Shawano County.
Frederick was united in marriage on June 7, 1947 to Arbutus "Boots" Bergsbaken. The couple celebrated 65 years together.
Fritz was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the Town of Lessor. Fritz started with Morning Glory Seymour in 1948 and retired from Morning Glory De Pere after 40 years. He was an avid sports fan especially the Badgers, Packers and Brewers. He was a baseball umpire for over 30 years and drove limo for the Gallery for 10 years. Fritz was "Santa" for many families. Fritz lived for time spent at the deer camp as the head cook.
He is survived by his wife Arbutus "Boots"; brother-in-law Jack (Sandee) Bergsbaken; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frederick was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Roger, John and Lester and a sister Doris; sisters- in-law and brothers-in-law: Daryl (Marie) Bergsbaken, Jarvis "Mike" (Ella) Bergsbaken, Leon "Pete" (Emogene) Bergsbaken, Willis (Doris) Bergsbaken and Tom Bergsbaken.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 4-8PM and will continue on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Welhaven, in the Town of Lessor from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Ellisen officiating.
