Gary R. Steinwehr, 68, of Townsend, passed away at home on Friday, February 17, 2017 with his wife of 22 years, Dianne, by his side. He was born January 3, 1949 in Shawano County and was a resident of Black Creek for 24 years prior to moving to Townsend.
Gary was a past employee of Metso Minerals and Davies Water Service of Appleton.
He is survived by his wife Dianne of Black Creek and Townsend; step-daughters: Angie Wagner, Lakewood; and Sara (Nate) Schmit, Black Creek; his baby, Otis, and grandson Wyatt Wagner, Black Creek; Ken and Florence "Mom" Duffek. Further survived by one son, Brian Winkler, Crivitz; and two grandsons: Codie and Dakota, Green Bay.
He will be missed by great friends Dave Wheaton, Randy Johnson, and Dale Morevac, and Pete Bolsson, many cousins and half-siblings.
A celebration of life will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4:00 pm until the memorial service at 6:00 pm.
