Geneva G. Tesch, age 84, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 at her home. She was born December 13, 1924 to the late John and Frances (Andrews) Duhm in Black Creek. On September 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Jack Tesch in Black Creek, he preceded her in death on February 8, 1983.
Geneva was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek. In 1942 she was named Outstanding 4-H Girl in the nation and was a leader for many years. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the National Knitting Guild, the Apple Knitters in Appleton, the Duhm-Masch Unit, Post 332 of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Black Creek Homemakers.
Survivors include her children: Betty Tesch, Black Creek; Barbara (Ching) Wang, Houston, TX; Bill Tesch, Black Creek; grandchildren: Andrew, Amy and Anna; 1 brother Roy (Ethel) Duhm, Appleton; sister-in-law, Alice Duhm, Black Creek; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bob; one sister, Victoria Daelke and one brother, Vernon.
Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Friday, January 2, 2009 from 10AM until funeral services at noon with Pastor Steve Schlicht and Paster John Brandt officiating.
