Gerald Braun

Gerald E. Braun, age 86, of De Pere passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by family. He was born April 13, 1928, son of the late Elmer and Amanda (Neuser) Braun.
He was united in marriage to Rita Steinbach and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2013.
Gerald was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida.
He operated Gerald E. Braun Construction for over 40 years. One of his proudest accomplishments was building and developing Dream Lake.
He is survived by his children: Steven (Betsy), Randy (Wendy), Gordon, Tina Rosner, Rick (Tammy); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ken (Geraldine) and Bernice Linders; and sister-in-law, Frances Braun.
Gerald was preceded in death by his grandson, Brent Rosner and daughter-in-law, Barbara Braun; brother, Reuben.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida, on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 1:30 pm until the Mass of Christian burial at 3 pm with Fr. John Chrysostom Katamba. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
