Gerald Lorenz

Gerald "Jerry" M. Lorenz, 60, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 (actually passed away in Dec. 2015 but had to put death date as June 8, 2016 so it would be updated on our website) due to complications of a heart attack. He was born in Appleton on October 26, 1955, son of Elton Lorenz and the late Doris (Werner) Lorenz. He was a lifelong "Professional" truck driver and was currently employed by USF Holland Trucking in Nashville, Tennessee. Jerry was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and Nascar fan.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Rossi; his beloved dog, Scout R.; his beloved daughters, Jill, Jocelyn and Julia; four step-children: Michael, Heather, Allison and Kate; nine grandchildren; five sisters: Pat (Lloyd) Tesch, Kathy (Ron) Guyette, Debbie (Gary) Blohm, Sandy (Joe) Gitter, and Chris (Vern) Stedjee; three brothers: Denny (Sally) Lorenz, Gordy (Diana) Lorenz, and Harry (Tammy) Lorenz; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Marilyn Rossi; as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Kim (Mike) Richardson, Angie (Matt) Roberts, and Joe (Jennifer) Rossi.

A celebration of Jerry's life will take place at Nichol's Community Center on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 9 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Bartel officiating.
