Gerald "Jerry" Thomas was finally reunited with his beloved wife, Fern, just in time to share a dance at Jayme and Ryan's wedding.
Jerry Thomas joined Fern in heaven on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Good Shepard in Seymour. He was born June 11, 1937 to Roy and Ella (Mueller) Thomas. He and Fern Eick were married on July 12, 1958.
He is survived by their children: Debbie (Steve) Johnson, Marty (Terri), Patti Jones, Peggy Vandermoss and Mike; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Travis (Bonnie) Leisgang Peyton, Cael and Cash, Tori (Alvin) Socha, Garrett and Brock, Trudee Leisgang (friends Dustin and Brie), Tom Leisgang (fiancAC.e Tashia),Thomas, Javon and Ollie Knox, Sam (Stacy) Thomas, Hadley and Laney, Andy Thomas, Jayme (Ryan) Kinnard, Ian Jones, Megan and Jacob Vandermoss. Further survived by "adopted" children: Dave (Stacy) Thomas and family, Lyle (Tammy) Thomas and family, Keith Thomas; brother-in-law, Bob (Jan) Eick, nieces and nephews: Tim (Heather) Eick and family, Staci McNatt and family, Terri (Jim) Peters and family; many dear family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Fern; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Orville and Nora Eick; sister Joan (Wally) Reed; niece Amy Reed; great niece Melissa Peters; and other family and friends.
