Geraldine Denny (Moericke) Brass, 91, of Seymour, WI, died at Shepherd's Inn Assisted Living on October 20, 2012. Gerri was born July 30, 1921 to Adam and Rachel (Phillips ) Denny.
Geraldine was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour. She was guided by a strong catholic faith that was a comfort to her. She now joins her true faithful friends Nonnie Krahn and Ruth Hillegas whom she talked of with great fondness and missed dearly.
Gerri is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Terrance and Linda Moericke, Mandan, ND, Jeffery and Cathy Moericke, Oneida, WI; grandchildren, Adam Moericke, Las Vegas, NV, Judi (David) Hudson, Bod Fish, CA, Raychel (Brandon) Chumley, Bismarck, ND, Lance (Madison) Moericke, Bismarck, ND, Melissa (Jordan) Halla, Suamico, WI, Melissa (Kyle) Carpenter, Green Bay, Amanda VandenPlas, Green Bay, Nicholas VandenPlas, Appleton, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Hubert Denny, Garderville, NV. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A special niece Priscilla Swiney, two females brought together by blood, but kept together by love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, an infant son, sister Julie, and brothers, John, Reginald, August, Arnold, and Raymond.
Friends may call at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9 am until the memorial mass at 10:30 am with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
