Geraldine L. Rudie, age 89, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital.
She was born December 10, 1921, daughter of the late Melvin Sr. and Emily (Radtke) Hovie.
On June 21, 1941 she was united in marriage to Ole E. Rudie, in the Town of Lessor. He preceded her in death December 8, l996.

She and her husband farmed in Shawano County for over 30 years. Geraldine enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan, especially following the Brewers, Braves and Packers. 10 AM was time to watch the Price Is Right and attending the cousins dinner.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in the Town of Lessor.

Survivors include her children: Michaal (Doris) Rudie, Kerrville Texas; Kenneth (Diana) Rudie; Jacqueline (Robert) Weier; Cynthia Rudie (special friend Michael Glasl), all of Green Bay; Grandchildren: Ryan (Beth) Rudie, Reed (Kelly) Rudie, Aaron (Erica) Weier; Jason (Jackie) Weier; Ben Lardinois (special Friend Lisa Kinville); three step-grandchildren: Lynn, Chris and Eric; great grandchildren: Taylor, Samantha, Parker, Myles, Jamison, Sydney, Delaney, Kendall and Reagan; one brother Melvin (Gloria) Hovie, Pulaski; sister-in-law Grace (Dean) Flietner, Green Bay; special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Friends may call at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, N1731 County Road S, Pulaski, WI 54162, Town of Lessor on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 4-7 PM and Friday, at church from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Dismer officiating.
