Seymour
George V. Muenster, age 81, of Seymour passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 17, 2007, at his home. He was born November 26, 1925 in Green Bay, the son of the late Victor and Anna (Bass) Muenster. On June 22, 1957 he was united in marriage to LaVerne Schroeder in the town of Chilton. George farmed in the town of Osborn until his retirement. He was a Korean Army veteran and a lifelong member of the Freedom Moravian Church. He enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne; his children: Lynne (Don) Behnke, Seymour; Nancy (Mike) Land, Seymour; Patti (Ron) Dombrowski, Freedom; nine grandchildren: Erin and Derek; Janel, Craig, Jenny, Ryan and Jon; Kelly and Toni; also, three great-grandchildren, Carter, Lilli and Carly. He is further survived by his brother, Victor (Barb) Muenster, Seymour; his sister-in-law, Delores Muenster, Seymour; and a brother-in-law, Art Hehnke, Appleton.
He was preceded in death by his sisters and brother, Dorothy (Robert) Mueller, Helen Hehnke, Alice (Melvin) Brusewitz, John Muenster and Marion (Emery) Brockman.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at the Freedom Moravian Church, W3457 Center Valley Rd., Twsp. of Freedom, from 9 a.m. until the services at 11 a.m., with Reverend Jason Anderson officiating.
