Gladys E. (Buss) Timm, 101, of the Town of Center, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at Meadow Wood Assisted Living in Seymour. She was born March 18, 1914 daughter of the late Herman and Lena (Holzinger) Buss.
She was united in marriage to Raymond Timm. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1982.
Gladys was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Center.
Gladys and Raymond farmed in the Town of Center for many years. Gladys retired from farming with her son Eugene at the age of 90.
Gladys loved to cook and bake and literally had thousands of recipes. She was very devoted to her faith and church, always looking forward to Sunday service.
More than anything else, Gladys cherished the times spent with her family. She made sure to be a part of every family event.
Survivors include her grandchildren: Tim (Deb) Holtz, Black Creek; Tam (Gary) Coenen, Appleton; Todd (Julie) Holtz, Seymour; great-grandchildren: Kyle (Abbey) Holtz, Steven (friend Kaci) Holtz, Amy (Mike) Van Handel, Eric (Angie) Coenen, Andy Coenen, Allyssa Holtz, and Taylor Holtz; great great-granddaughters: Claire, Chloe, Raelynn, and baby Holtz expected in August.
Gladys is preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn (Cyril) Holtz and son, Eugene Timm; infant granddaughter, baby Holtz; also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Center on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeffery Suhr and Pastor Micah Martin officiating.
