Harold L. Seitz, 98, of Black Creek, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 1, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on September 11, 1914 son of the late Herman and Wilhelmina (Krueger) Seitz. He was united in marriage on September 30, 1944 to Leola Uhlenbrauck in Black Creek.
Harold farmed until 1965. In 1959 he was a custodian at Appleton West High School until his retirement. He enjoyed many polka dances and loved working in his garden. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.
He is survived by his wife Leola; children: Roger (Joan) Seitz, Black Creek; Darlene (Arden) Voigt, Black Creek; Betty (Orland) Koenig, De Pere; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mildred Nelson, Seymour.
Preceded in death by his brothers: Ervin (Adeline), Melvin, Norman, Clarence, Herbert and a sister Elmyra (Wilbur) Beyer; brothers-in law and sister-in-law, Ruben (Doloris) Uhlenbrauck and Clarence Nelson.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and visitation will continue on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Schlicht and Pastor John Brandt officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
