Harriet Kindness, age 73, of Oneida, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her home. She was born October 15, 1941, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Cynthia (Antone) Kindness.
Harriet was raised and resided in Chicago, graduating from Metropolitan Business School and was proud of her home town. She was a major White Sox fan, and an avid supporter of the Chicago Bears she even tolerated the Green Bay Packers.
Harriet enjoyed playing bingo, going on shopping trips until her illness, but most of all was time spent with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rietta (James) Talavera; and Rebecca Boyd Hansen; three sons: David (Sylvia) Boyd, Doug (Sandi) Boyd, and Eutimio Talavera Jr.; grandchildren: Cherrell, Justice, Joseph, David Jr., Nicole, Chantel, Seth, Rhiannon, Garrett, Blake, Jim, Richard, Abby-Doo and Ari; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Diana Lynn Boyd and Comerita Talavera; and three grandchildren: Jessie, Christina and Myles; siblings: Maggie, Doug, Millie, Maurice, Elliott Kindness; and other relatives.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the services at 11 a.m. with Rev.
