Harriet M. Kump, 91, of Seymour and formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, March 3, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born in Chicago on August 11, 1924, daughter of the late Paul and Kathryn (Harbacek) Budnick.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour and formerly of St. Raymond Parish in Joliet, IL.
She was united in marriage to Raymond Kump, Sr. on September 1, 1956. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2001.
Harriet was employed by Illinois Bell for 35 years before retiring in 1979.
Harriet is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Joseph) Murck, Winona, MN; son, Raymond Kump, Jr., Green Bay; and three grandchildren: Dennis, Tyler, and Daniel Kump.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory Street, Seymour, WI on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11 am with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating.
