Harvey M. Skenandore, Sr., 76, Oneida, passed away at home on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born on February 9, 1945, to the late Edward and Electa (Skenandore) Skenandore. Harvey enlisted in the U.S. Army, and proudly served his country in the early 1960s. He was united in marriage to Patricia "Patsy" Danforth on November 20, 1965, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida.
Harvey was a longtime member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Oneida. He worked at CA Lawton Co in De Pere for many years until his retirement. Harvey was a member of Wisconsin Indians Veterans Association - Oneida Chapter. He enjoyed shooting dartball with the Oneida Methodist Church members. Harvey had a passion for playing cribbage and bingo. He also liked fishing, traveling, cooking, and going out to eat. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Harvey's greatest passion in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by wife of 56 years, Patsy Skenandore; four children: Lisa Skenandore, Diane Corn, Harvey Jr. (Maria) Skenandore, and Amanda Skenandore, seven grandchildren: Melissa, Jessica (Jeremy), Jamie (Louis), Christopher (Laquitta), Cody, Jaya, and Michelle; 14 great-grandchildren: Tanaya, Nevaeh, Wiley, Julian, Landon, Andy, Stadler, Jordan, Peyton, Rahmani, Nyomi, Robin, Noah, and Bryan; one sister, Betty Nicholas; one brother, Edward (Beverly) Skenandore; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kruckeberg; his special nephew, Kenny Skenandore; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lee Skenandore; one granddaughter, Janessa Lynn Skenandore; one grandson, Christopher Hebb; siblings: Mary (Lee) Hill, Corneil (Delores) Skenandore, Lorraine (Garrett) Thomas, Loretta (Joseph) Valentino, Frank (Yvonne) Skenandore, and Hartman Skenandore; and one brother-in-law, Edwin Nicholas.
Visitation will take place at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, 2937 Freedom Rd, Oneida, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, Vicar Rodger Patience officiating and Deacon Deb Heckel assisting. Burial with military honors will take place in spring at Holy Apostles Episcopal Cemetery in Oneida.
