Helen M. Hildebrandt, age 81, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born November 28, 1929 on Thanksgiving Day in Seymour, daughter of the late Elmer and Erna (Trost) Gehrke.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero. Helen was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour and was graduate of Seymour High School. She was employed at Seymour Transfer Line, Express Freight and Fareway Express in Milwaukee. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bird watching and feeding the birds, reading and crossword puzzles. Her family was special to her.
Survivors include her children: Jean Hill, Green Bay; Lois Payne, Green Bay; Audrey (John) Gosse, Seymour; 6 grandchildren: Michelle Laabs, Green Bay; Marc Laabs, Green Bay; Paula Wilquet, Green Bay; Andrea Payne, Appleton; Jennifer Payne, Shawano; James Gosse, Seymour; 4 great-grandchildren: James, Colton, Dakota, and Hunter Greaves, all of Green Bay; one brother Alvin, Green Bay; two sisters: Ilene Pemper, Prentice; Karla (Dick) Danowsky, Sunrise Beach, Missouri; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Hildebrandt, Waupaca,; Marion Hildebrandt Neenah; Leila (Willie) Little, Gresham; Selma Buettner, Shawano; Jeanette (Allie) Christ, Gresham; Dorothy Seering, Minnesota; brothers-in-law: Bruce Schiller, Germantown; Carl Hildebrandt, Cecil; Ray Hildebrandt, Bonduel. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Gosse; sister, Glenda Schiller; sisters-in-law: Ruth Gerhke; Twila Hildebrandt; brothers-in-law: John M. Pemper, Lawrence Hildebrandt, Elmer Hildebrandt, Clifford Buettner and Roland Seering.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 10 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner. Burial in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
