Ione Margaret Meske, 85, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Forest Glen Assisted Living in Seymour. She was born March 2, 1934, daughter of the late Leo and Margaret (Menzel) Topel.
She was married to LaVerne Meske for 32 years. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1996.
Ione and her husband owned Dary-Holstein Farm in Darien, WI for many years. They traveled the state and the midwest showing registered holsteins.
She is survived by her five children: Shirene (Jim Chapman) Meske, Corey Meske, Kevin (Carrie) Meske, Darla (Herb Lustig) O'Brien, and Dayna (Steve) Moat; five granddaughters: Dakota Moat and Desiree Moat, Tonya Bricco-Meske, Wendy Bricco-Meske, and Angie Bricco-Meske; great-granddaughter, TenLee Moat. Further survived by her two sisters: Mary (Calvin) Atkinson and Noel (Bernard "Bud") Lincks.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Gary Topel, Irene Wollinger, Kenneth Topel, Ellen Utech, Lynn Toperl, and Fern Topel.
A memorial service for Ione will be held at a later date.
