Jack M. Hillsberg, age 69, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton. He was born June 22, 1941 to the late Marvin and Emma (Kabble) Hillsberg. Jack was baptized and confirmed at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino.

On April 20, 1968 he was united in marriage to Betty Raddant in Shawano. Jack attended Navarino Elementary and graduated from Bonduel High School. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1959 until 1962. He played softball until he was 49 and raced stock cars in the early 60's. Jack worked construction all of his life until he had to retire because of illness.

He enjoyed gardening, watching the Brewers and Packers, feeding birds, fishing and ice fishing, watching the deer in his backyard, deer hunting, playing cards, and running around Navarino in his golf cart.

Jack is survived by his wife Betty, his brothers: Harlo (Peggy) Hillsberg, Navarino, Rodney (Barbara) Hillsberg, Navarino, and Timothy Hillsberg, Appleton; brothers-in-law: James (Sandy) Raddant and Allen (Helen) Raddant both of Shawano. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, special aunt Ruth Theyel, and his special furry friend Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, brother-in-law Bob Raddant, and nephew Danny Hillsberg; step-parents Cliff and Avis Wolslegel.

Friends may call at Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino, on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 9:30 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jon Paquette officiating. Burial at the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
