Jack Krull

Jack L. Krull, 78, of Bonduel passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 15, 2012 on the same farmstead where he was born on July 28, 1933, son of the late John and Luella (Gottschalk) Krull. On October 16, 1954 he married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Schneider. Jack graduated from Bonduel High School class of 1951 and served in the U.S. Navy in 1956 and 1957. He farmed all his life on the Krull homestead in the Nichols area.

Jack was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Men's Club and Sunday Morning Bible Class and was an a past Elder of the church. He was active in the community and county organizations and was an active 4-H leader and member of the State & National Guernsey Cattle Assoc. Jack served on the State Guernsey Cattle Assoc. as director and past President of the Nichols Co-op.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and woodworking. He and Dorothy enjoyed traveling and attending Guernsey conventions and showing cattle. He had a unique talent for finding four leaf clovers and enjoyed windmills, installing his own on July 16, 2011 on the family farm.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; children: Tom (Judy) Krull, Nancy (Jim) Courchaine, Jeff Krull, Todd (Luann) Krull; 9 grandchildren: Barry, Brett and Rob Krull, Nick and Danielle Courchaine, Joshua Krull, Matt (Jessie) Krull, Jessie (Brent) Van Handel, Jack D. Krull; 4 great grandchildren: Mayce and Dylan Van Handel, Braylon and Revyn Krull; 5 step grandchildren: Terri(Mark) Peeters, Angie (Dean) Hillsberg, Laura Shepard, Lisa (Brandon) Swan, Lee Vanden Heuvel; step great grandchildren: Chelsea, Sierra and Kylie Peeters, Jarret and Dylan Hillsberg, Paige and Katelynn Shepard, Lily and Jersey Swan; 2 brothers: James (Virginia) Krull, Appleton; Rodney Krull, Mercer; 1 sister, Audrey (Robert) Moeller, Black Creek; sister-in-law, Shirley Krull, Bonduel; brother-in-law, Curt Schneider; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceded in death by his sister, baby girl Krull; brothers: Richard "Dickie" Krull, Terry Krull, Earl "Stu" Krull; sisters-in-law, Alvina Krull, Ruthie Krull and Corinne Schneider.

Friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bonduel on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 4-8 PM and Saturday February 18th at the church from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Timothy J.
