Jack Marsh

July 18, 1926 — August 8, 2013

Jack J. Marsh, age 87, of Seymour passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born on July 18, 1926 son of the late John and Nellie (Johnvin) Marsh. Jack was united in marriage to June Hamlin in Mountain.
He was a member of Angelica United Methodist Church, Pulaski. He was a VFW member in Mountain. Jack was a World War II Army Air Corp, honorable discharged as a Sargent in 1947. He served over in Japan during the war. As a young man he was a lumberjack in the north woods working with his father, he also played baseball with his dad in the Oconto County baseball league.
Jack and June farmed in Mountain for 8 years, after farming the couple moved to Green Bay where he worked with heavy equipment for construction companies until his retirement. He worked in the Seymour area since 1966.
He was survived by his wife June; children: Tom (Judy), Gillett; Dale (Rhonda), Seymour; Curt (Debbie), Seymour; John (Kari Jo), Bonduel; Hali (Noal) Huey, Seymour; Carey St. Thomas, Kaukauna; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Carl Marsh, Suring; Neva Smith, Suring; Nettie Reuter, Suring; Enid (Jerry) Mattson, Townsend; Jonell (John) Gregg, Wabeno; sister-in-law Betty Jameson, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandson Joel Marsh; 1 sister, Delia Sperberg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Loretta officiating and with Military rites to follow the service.
