Jacqueline A. Klass, age 82, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Odd Fellow Nursing Home in Green Bay. She was born in Oconto on February 7, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Leslie (Juneau) Witeck. On June 5, 1948 she married Robert Klass. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2003.
Jacqueline was an operator for the phone company and owned and operated Marinette Answering Service for 30 years.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Dori) Klass, Oro Valley, AZ; Barbara (Angelo) Perrus, Green Bay; Susan (William) Johnston, Monroe, VA; Patrick (Mary) Klass, Seymour; grandchildren: Daniel (Andrie), Matthew, John Robert, Patrick, Nicholas (Julie), Stephanie (Benjamin), Benjamin, Adam, Luke, Steven and Joanna; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Craig Kabat; one brother, Donald (Agnes) Witeck, Appleton; two sisters, Mary Jo (William) Scott, San Diego, CA; Nathalie (Chuck) Feifarek, San Jose, CA; and a sister-in-law, Jillean Witeck.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Eugene Witeck, James Witeck, Marilyn Beauchamp, and Gloria Cole.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating.
