James A. Hillsberg, age 73, passed away on January 23, 2009 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. He was born August 26, 1935 in Wisconsin, son of the late Walter and Leona (Mielke) Hillsberg.
Jim was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and was an Air Force Veteran serving for 4 years. He drove truck for Murphy Construction for many years. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Earl James Hillsberg, Indiana; sister, Judy (Allen) Porter, Bonduel; sister-in-law, Arlene Dieringer, Shiocton; good friends, Gary and Kathy Jaskolski, Seymour, and nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife Margie.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 4 PM until funeral services at 7 PM with Pastor Gregory Sorenson officiating. Burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
