James “Jim” A. Radecki, 70, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, feeling the love of his family, after a long illness of Polycystic kidney disease. He did at home hemodialysis for 5 years and later peritoneal dialysis.
Jim was born August 28, 1948, son of the late Michael and Rose (Jarosinski) Radecki. He attended Hofa Park Parochial and Pulaski Schools. On July 15, 1972, he was united in marriage to Gail Moeller. The couple farmed together for 33 years, harvesting crops was his favorite. Jim also was a milk hauler for several cheese factories. Later he owned his own semi and hauled product for Grantek. Jim had a strong work ethic, and always thought well of people who worked hard. He enjoyed ice fishing and especially deer hunting with the guys up north. His children and their families meant everything to him.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Cicero.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail; two children: Ryan (Sarah) Radecki, Pulaski; Rhonda (Tom) Sandor, Suamico; five grandchildren: Tucker and Lauren Radecki, Logan, Ethan and Evan Sandor; two sisters-in-law, Diane Allbritton and Sally (Warren) Barclay.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Catherine Radecki; two brothers, Tom and Dennis Radecki; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward and Mildred Moeller; two brothers-in-law, Gene Allbritton and Allen Moeller.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 4-8 pm and visitation will continue at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 9:30 am until the service at 11:00 am with Pastor Vicki Jens-Page officiating.
